How does a Discovery Call work?
It's 30 minutes, free, with no pressure. You tell me what's on your mind, I'll share how I work, and we decide together whether to go further.
What if it's not the right fit?
You're free to stop after the Discovery Call, or at any point during an engagement – no obligation either way.
Do sessions happen in person, by phone, or video call?
Typically over video call (Google Meet), but in-person or phone are both options if that's your preference – or a mix of all three.
How long are sessions, and how often do they happen?
Sessions are 50 minutes, typically every 2–4 weeks depending on what suits you.
Is this a one-off thing or an ongoing programme?
It's flexible – a single session, a handful of sessions, or a longer structured engagement, and we can focus on one topic or several. We'll discuss what fits during the Discovery Call, and adjust as we go.
What happens between sessions?
Message-based check-ins are available if something comes up before the next session.
Can I reschedule or add sessions?
Yes – I ask for at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule. We can also adjust the plan or add a session if something comes up, like an important meeting you want to prepare for.
What's your coaching style?
Question-led rather than advice-led – the goal is to help you reach your own clarity, not hand you mine. Some engagements follow a structured programme; others are built session to session around whatever's live for you.
Is what we discuss confidential?
Yes – our conversations are fully confidential. Even if it's company-sponsored, I will not share any information unless explicitly agreed upon beforehand.
How much does it cost?
Pricing starts at £150 per hour. It varies by engagement type and whether it's privately funded or company-sponsored – we'll discuss what's right for you on the Discovery Call.
Do you work with clients outside the UK?
Yes – I work with clients globally. I typically work UK hours but can be flexible for different time zones on request. Currency and payment can be discussed on the Discovery Call.
What's a Hogan Assessment, and do I need one?
It's a structured personality/behaviour assessment used in executive coaching at Fortune 500 companies. I'm certified to administer and interpret it – it can be folded into your coaching or done on its own, but it's not required.
